i’ve read the books. i was originally really disappointed by the fact it hasn’t stuck to the books’ plot.. however, i’m still addicted to the series :L i really hope elena still gets turned into a vampire.

i haven’t read the books, and i understand what you’re saying ‘jamie’ but i do think that your comment is a bit too harsh. Not everyone thinks through what they are going to write when they do.. Yes ‘no name’ should have put the text *SPOILERS* and yes there are probably many people who are a bit miffed that they may have read that by accident. But still, in my opinion the fact that Elena is made a vampire is a pretty obvious plot line – how else could she and Stefan remain together?
too bad that it isn’t even a spoiler. ‘no name’ said ‘i hope’ not ‘i know’ . so technically, Jamie, you spoiled it.
and i think what Rachel said was true, EVERYONE saw it coming anyway. what matters is besides that the t.v show is a big mystery(that’s what makes it good), and no one really knows for sure if she will turn into a vampire or not, considering how different it is from the actual book.
