Don’t know the watch wasn’t in the books. Maybe their going to include some type of time travel or something. The bigger question is why did Damon want that chrystal, what is it for, and why did he hide it there long ago? No chrystal in the books either. I like this show, because it is so different from the books, but I thought the reference to Twilight was unnecessary. This show is good on its own without making negative references to a good movie. It really isn’t a competition.

well the watch: i think when they put that compus paper thing in it, it shows where vampires are, thats how Login found Stefan and Vickie, and the crystal, i have no idea but i’m guessing its to do with witches because when Damon toutched it when it was around Bonnie’s neck (in Haunted i think, sorry im skipping ahead) it burned his hand and he couldn’t toutch it so i’m guessing thats why he hid it them years ago, to hide it from witches? Just guessing on the crystal on but im pretty sure with the watch.
oh waait, sorry: on this video they’re only just saying they need the watch.. so everything i said about the watch in my last comment would be shown in episode 5- your undead to me. Sorry for the mix up
