The 27 vampires is because when the town knew of vampires Damon, Katherine, and possibly Stephen were feeding and changing people.

umm im not all that sure if is spoiler not but anyway…
*damon came baqq to free katherine from where she is held
*idk about the whole 27 vampires
*she did die in a fire but later on through the series it is discovered that right before the church was burned, damon told emily to do a spell so katherine can survive under a secret tomb beneath the church. thats why she is still alive and that where, bcuz of the spell, she is still been held at

This is what I got from watching this episode to so don’t take my word for it…

1) Its still not 100% clear why Damon came back but it would seem it was so he could resurrect Catherin.

2) 27 vampires where in the church with Catherin when it burnt. Emily Catherin’s maid used magic to save Catherin when to fire burnt down the church but in doings so she saved the other 27 vampires that where in the church with her.

3) Is pretty much answered in question 2 but if you watch the episode and really listen you can get everything that I have just said and more.

I have read books 1 and 2 and this is know where near the same.

alright i AM CONFUSED , i saw it tonighttt .

& well the book is WAY different than the show .

here are my questions

1.) why did damon kome back ? i kinda missed that part .

2.) how kome 27 vampires died ?

3.) im kind of a little mix khuz i finished the books a long time ago , & its different so
in the show catherine died in a fire ? but damon said something about being held somewhere ? wondering how she/he is ? who is he talking about ??

please answer my questionsss
