no remember that Katherine is a dead ringer for Elana, in last weeks episode Isobel came to town to do Katherine’s dirty work, which was to kill all the other tomb vampires. Katherine never had any intentions for Damon and Stephen to die that was part of Uncle John and Isobel’s plan. Katherine wanted to make sure all the vampires were dead before she came back. This was just an amazing episode. Now that she was invited in she has full access to Elana. I know six months is a long time to wait to see what will happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The books and the show is completely different, if you want something to keep you entertained in the summer while waiting for the next season, go ahead and read it.
It’s totally different plots and such. Hope that helps XD

Oh my goodness i completely agree! I read the books after i started watching the series and was shocked at how different they are; its like two completely different stories. Anywhoooo, they are both pretty awesome XD

I live in England, so all the episodes come out weeks later than they do in America! For example, we are only on episode 18! That’s why i watch them alllll on here! Haha.

Where I live in the US we don’t get the channel that has the Vampire Dairies so I watch it on here. When is the next episode coming out? Or is 22 the last episode of season 1?
22 is the last one. Season 2 should be airing in August. hope that helped
