For one theyve made so many changes, and theyve pulled it and played with it so much that its no longer Vampire Diaries but something that vaguely resembles the books. For example, Bonnie is white and ginger in the books, also quite small. In this she is tall, black and brunette. And where's Meredith? That trio is vital in the books! I also think that stefan looks nothing like what he should and i really don't like their choice. This is personal preference however. The only good thing about this from what i've seen is who theyve cast to play Damon. So far i've been impressed with him and can kind of match him to the awesome character in the books.
