I have never seen any episode, neither I have read the books, the fact that one serie differs from a book does not really mean is not good, sometimes those changes are for good.

yeah i like the show and just started reading the 1st book its good but they should have stuck to the book more but i guess they didnt like it they just wanted to change things

Well, you’re right. All the characters are gone all WRONG. At first, I thought Ian was Stefan and Paul was Damon. I got it all wrong, too. Except, this is a smaller deal than the fact that all the characters were not right.
