The books are great, creates a good illusion.
Its just a slight vampire obsession i have.
Jeez.
I like it except for a couple of problems.
1- elena had a much younger siser, not a brother.
2- elena was blonde in the books.
3- where’s meredeth?
thats exactly wat i was thinking, elena was blonde and had a sister and meredith was not in it.
but still the episodes are good like the books.

Heard a lot about the books but never really got up to reading them. Wonder if its good??? Will watch the show thought it looks alright. I’m reading Anita Blake instead, until they put the next trueblood book out. The suspense its killing me.

AHHH! can’t wait read all the books! i dont care about the differences even though its going to be miserable without meridith buttt all the characters are sooo cute ESP.DAMON<3 (im still siding with stefan though)
Even though I totally dislike how they didn’t pick the cast according to the way the book described them, i’m still going to watch this.
I hope they at least get most of the story right. If not then, w/e. There’s always GG. hehe
I`ve read the first book at least in part it is going to be good. I hope they keep it the same {But then again they never do}. Who dosent love a good vamp romance? Theres Twilight, Trueblood, and now Vampire Diaries. My mom thinks Im addicted.

it’s going to be so much better than trublood guaranteed. hopefully it’ll be a lot like twilight read all those books and saw movie, can’t wait for vampire diaries

I have a Mac also, and have no problem watching. Click on the “Click here to start watching…” link. When the page loads, click Cancel and OK, for the Zango thing. Trust me, you don’t want it, it’s full of viruses. At the top of the page (in the white area) click PRESS START. Scroll down about to about middle of the page and click in the red circle with the white arrow in the center of the video picture and start watching. If you want to watch full screen, just click the icon for full screen at the bottom.

i have to say, i was pretty disappointed…the acting was bad, the special effects were really fake-looking, and it is definitely no True Blood…..and whats with the Degrassi actors?….yes, i do realize its sad i notice them
omg i cant not believe it…. i was going to give this a try but this is sooooo not true blood…..

I like it. I´m a vampire fan-fiction and i love Twilight, Vampire Diaries and True Blood. All very differente, but all of them good. And also all of them have bad things to say about it, but i concentrate in what i like im me there is space to all of it. I´m liking too much. True Bloos in this 2nd season became annoying with all of that MaryAnn stuff so much longer, an entire serie dedicated to that for me and other persons was very poor. They could have a season so much way better and more interesting!

Sorry, gonna rant a little now.
I’m feeling a bit love/hate about this series. For one theyve made so many changes, and theyve pulled it and played with it so much that its no longer Vampire Diaries but something that vaguely resembles the books. For example, Bonnie is white and ginger in the books, also quite small. In this she is tall, black and brunette. And where’s Meredith? That trio is vital in the books!
I also think that stefan looks nothing like what he should and i really don’t like their choice. This is personal preference however.
The only good thing about this from what i’ve seen is who theyve cast to play Damon. So far i’ve been impressed with him and can kind of match him to the awesome character in the books.
I could go on and on about all the wrong decisions theyve made but I wont cause its not fair.

Well, you’re right. All the characters are gone all WRONG. At first, I thought Ian was Stefan and Paul was Damon. I got it all wrong, too. Except, this is a smaller deal than the fact that all the characters were not right.
