Summer Survival Guide Without Vampire Diaries- The Books!
When Vampire Diaries ended not only was I super excited and shocked with season finale but I was also sad that I would have to wait the entire summer before I would be able to watch a new episode. So I came up with a sort of guide, thats not really a guide, for this Vampireless summer.
First offf- The Books!
If you haven’t read the books you must! They are an excellent fun summer read and you get your fair share of Salvatore brothers. The books are even more supernatural than the show and tend to include a little more fantasy. Remember at the beginning of the season when Damon could control the crow and the fog and could even influence people’s dreams? Well that all comes from the books. However, the producers of the show say that they will be including more of the super natural aspects to the show. What do you think about that? Would you like to see more powers from the vampires or do you think the show’s magical powers quota is filled by Bonnie? On that for those who have read the books- show or books? Which one do you prefer?
Alrighty I’ll be back again to see what you guys think and to propose a new idea to survive the summer without Vampire Diaries.

Honestly I cant say whether i prefer the books or the show! :O
They are so completely different!!! I mean of course they have the similarities but for the most part its like comparing an apple and orange. I love love love the books, there my favourite read at the moment and the only thing sustaining me until the second season of TVD. I cant Wait!!!!
Honestly, there so different from each other! Its completely different except for names!!!
im still hoping for meredith to come into the series…..
hmmm I would LOVE to see the tv show turn book and the actual book turned tv show… cuz really the two are quite different, but for now I think ill stay with The show.
i have read only the first book, but so far, i think the series are better.. yet, i accept every other opinion…
I have read all the books and really enjoyed the first ones. But the last ones that L.J. Smith wrote more recently do not live up to the first amazing ones.
xx
But i have to say I do prefer the tv programme so much more and cannot wait for the second series
